  1. First and Foremost!
  2.      If you are installing MegaD 3.1:
  3.           If you are a registered user of MegaD 2.0 or 3.0, you have
  4.           a MegaD2.pf file that contains your preferences for MegaD
  5.           2.0.  MegaD 3.1 will read, use and save those preferences.
  6.           Be sure to copy your MegaD2.pf file to the same drawer that
  7.           you placed MegaD 3.1 before running MegaD 3.1.  Once you
  8.           save this file with MegaD 3.1, MegaD 2.0 will not be able
  9.           to use it anymore.

  11. Installing MegaD on a hard drive is very simple,  create a new
  12. directory for MegaD and unarc all of the files and directories to
  13. that directory.  No assignments are necessary.  Remember to copy
  14. your MegaD2.pf, if you have one, to this directory before running
  15. the new version of MegaD.

  17. Installing MegaD on floppy is another story,  the combined total
  18. of the files contained in the three archives is more than two
  19. 880K floppy disk.  The files contained in MegaD3_a.lha are all
  20. that you need to run MegaD and the space they require take less
  21. than one half of floppy disk, so you can easily create a floppy
  22. to use MegaD with.

  24. MegaD 3.1 and it's accompany files have grown to the point that I
  25. have decided to release them in three separate archive files.

  27. Should you decide to upload MegaD to a BBS or on-line service,
  28. please obtain and upload all three files so that other users can
  29. acquire everything available for MegaD.

  32.           The bare essentials to run MegaD.

  34.           It is understandable with many shareware programs
  35.           growing to enormous sizes, the on-line network users is
  36.           apprehensive to download a program just to see if it is
  37.           worth having.  This archive will give a new user the
  38.           chance to bounce around and test MegaD without being
  39.           forced to download everything available.  Should you
  40.           decide to send the registration fee for MegaD, I'll
  41.           send the complete set of files so that there will be no
  42.           need for your to obtain the other two archives.

  46.           Everything else.

  48.           MegaD is fully documented and has taken full advantage
  49.           of the AmigaGuide library.  An in-depth tutorial can be
  50.           printed to your printer.  MegaD offers on-line help.
  51.           MegaD has full ARexx support. MegaD can be translated
  52.           by the use of dictionary files.  MegaD is not complete
  53.           without this information and all of this takes space,
  54.           it has been place at your disposal in this archive.
  55.           Should you decide you want to find out what MegaD's
  56.           full potential is, you'll need this information.

  59. MDSpool.lha
  60.           A new print spooler, this is a freely distributable
  61.           program.  It will work with or without MegaD.  It
  62.           enhances MegaD's print capabilities.  Even if you don't
  63.           use MegaD you may want to have this program in your
  64.           utilities drawer.  This is a FREE program.  This
  65.           program requires 2.0 or greater.
